The Life Coaching Process

So how does Life Coaching work?

As your life coach, I will begin by listening to your story with empathy and compassion.  By asking clarifying questions and challenging your basic assumptions to encourage expansive thinking, I will help you to gain clarity about the future you want for yourself. Dreaming big and moving past limiting beliefs can be extremely informative and effective for making positive change.

Once we get a clear vision of what you want from your future, we will figure out a practical path to get there. We’ll explore your strengths and resources, as well as your practical needs and constraints. We’ll look at different options for moving forward and create a plan for getting started and making real, practical, rapid progress toward your goal.

Some of the progress will come in our life coaching sessions, and some will come in between them —as you’re living your life with renewed purpose, focus, and energy. I’ll be there to provide information, point out insights you may not have seen before, and help you find ways to use your strengths to find both the courage to begin and the persistence to continue on the path toward your goals for positive change.
